Welcome to Berkhamsted School Library. We are a query (many thanks to Warrior Librarian for this collective noun) of four school librarians seeking to assist our pupils and students in their quest for knowledge and search for good quality modern children’s literature. We also like to talk books with our many colleagues and welcome any feedback from, or dialogue with, you, engaging with our passion for reading!
We are lucky enough to have two libraries at our school, one on each site, and which are very different in character and appearance. Our library on the Castle campus was built as a memorial to past students who served in World War I. The the library at King’s evolved when the old school hall was divided to provide a new library and house rooms. King’s library was refurbished three years ago with the generous bequest of an Old Girl.
